  • Injuries resulting from a sudden, single-event trauma, such as an ankle sprain from an awkward landing or a hamstring strain from sprinting leads to pain, tissue swelling, and reduced function. At DLPT, we pride ourselves on offering effective ways to help your body heal; from modalities such as e-stim, Dry Needling, and manual therapy techniques, we’ll help alleviate your symptoms so you can get back to doing what you love!

  • After major reconstruction(s) from injuries like an ACL tear, rotator cuff tear, achilles tendon rupture, or joint replacement(s) the recovery process needs to be organized and thorough; returning to play with confidence is our priority. By utilizing sport specific testing, the latest evidence of rehab. and a structured treatment plan, we’ll help get you back the mobility, power, and confidence necessary to compete at your best and reduce the risk of re-injury.

  • A wise man once said, “the knee bones connected to the hip bone.” Our body is one big mechanism helping us move in space, relying on each part to do its job. When one muscle isn’t performing the way it should, we can have imbalances to our system that affect not only that specific area, but surrounding areas leading to discomfort elsewhere. Through our thorough review of how you move and pattern recognition, we can identify what areas may need increased stability to better support your system while moving more comfortably and efficiently.

  • Often due to training errors or poor technique, overuse injuries and tendinopathy are that nagging pain that keep us from competing at our best; this includes conditions like shin splints and tendinopathy of the elbow, Achilles, etc. At DLPT we use therapeutic exercise and hands-on methods and to calm down irritated tendons or bone tissue and teach you how to load them properly so they can handle repetitive movements with less irritation.
