-
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! But with some limitations.. we currently work with Avera Health Plans (PPO plans only), Sanford Health Plans, WellmarkBCBS, Medicare, Medicaid, and Medica for insurance coverages. All other individuals falling outside of these insurers will need to utilize our cash based packages for payments. Does your clinic specialize in any areas?
In order to best serve the Sioux Falls community, we have chosen to not specialize in any one area at this time; the clinic is a general orthopedics clinic targeted to help you move more comfortably and efficiently.
We do, however, want and expect to work with those who are invested in their health and are willing to work as a team to make a change!

How long does a session last?
Each session (both initial evaluation and subsequent visits) are scheduled for one hour. This allows for ample time together to make sure we’re making the progress you expect to see.
With our tailored approach, it’s not uncommon to spend a little less time or more time within a session depending on your body’s response to treatment, however.

What's the difference between Physical Therapy and Chiropractic Medicine?
Physical Therapy and Chiropractic Medicine have much more in common now-a-days than ever before, as both aim to help the body heal. However, a few key differences provide individuals with options for the appropriate care they need.
Physical Therapists are medically recognized health-care professionals that, by definition, treat diseases, injuries, or deformity by means of manual therapy, modalities, and exercise rather than drugs or surgery.
Chiropractic Medicine by definition is a form of complementary medicine based on the diagnosis and manipulative treatment of misalignments of the joints, especially from the spine which are believed to cause other disorders affecting the nerves, muscles, and organs.
-
How long will I need to be in Physical Therapy?
The duration of your treatment plan depends on your injury, its severity, and your body's response to therapy. It could be as short as a few weeks for a minor sprain or several months for a more serious injury or post-surgical recovery. We will work together to ensure you are not in therapy longer than you want to be!
-
Can I do Physical Therapy at home?
Yes! Home exercise programs are a crucial part of most treatment plans. We will teach you specific exercises to perform at home to reinforce the progress you make during your sessions and accelerate your recovery.
